Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 18, 2026

Last Updated: July 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how InOrdery (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and shares your information when you use our mobile application (“InOrdery” or the “App”) and our website at inordery.com (the “Service”).

By downloading, installing, or using InOrdery, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

a) Information You Provide Directly

Account information: Your name, email address, and (if you choose) profile photo when you sign up using email, Apple Sign-In, or Google Sign-In.

Password: If you sign up with email, your password is securely hashed and stored by Firebase Authentication. We never see or store your plain-text password.

Company and team information: Company name, business details, and role (e.g., owner, member) when you create or join a company in the App.

Business data: Inventory items, quantities, prices, barcodes, QR codes, custom fields, sales records, cart data, transfers, customers, vendors, notes, and related business information you enter into the App.

Contact information: If you use the “Import from Contacts” feature, we access your device’s Contacts (only with your permission) to let you select customers or vendors to add. Selected contacts are stored in your account.

b) Information Collected Automatically

Device information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, language, and time zone.

Usage data: In-app events (e.g., screens visited, features used), crash reports, and diagnostics — used to improve the App’s performance and reliability.

Approximate location: Derived from your IP address for analytics purposes. We do not collect precise GPS location.

c) Camera and Photos

InOrdery uses your device’s camera to scan barcodes and QR codes of inventory items. Camera access is only requested when you tap a scan button, and no photos or video are stored, transmitted, or shared. Scanning is performed on-device.

d) Purchase Information

If you subscribe to a paid plan, purchases are processed by Apple’s App Store. We do not collect or store your payment card details. We only receive confirmation of your subscription status through Apple’s servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account and company workspace

• Provide, operate, and maintain the App’s features

• Sync your inventory and business data across your devices

• Send you transactional emails (welcome emails, password resets, verification emails, invitation emails, and important service notices)

• Send push notifications (only if you enable them) for stock alerts, expiry reminders, and other in-app events

• Improve the App through analytics, crash reporting, and diagnostics

• Provide customer support and respond to your requests

• Prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our terms
